How Do You Test Yourself To See if You Are In the Faith? Reading 2nd Corinthians 13 #250

Paul commands Christians to examine themselves and test themselves to see if they are actually in the faith, rather than Christians in name only. What sort of test is he talking about, and how can somebody know whether they are genuinely saved by Jesus?
