How Can You Rejoice While Trembling With Fear? Reading Psalms 1-2 #182

Psalm 2 reveals what appear at first to be two different sides of God: His anger at sin and His loving and protective nature. How can this be? How are we supposed to joyfully tremble in fear in the presence of God? Is it possible to rejoice and be afraid at the same time?
